It’s not really the friends or school I’m going to miss about high school. What I’m going to miss the most is my my family. The crazyness of my house, my brother always having video games on, the solitude of my room. When we come back from college, home is still home but we aren’t living in it anymore. We are visitors. We will stay awhile and then leave.

My brothers girlfriend told me that in order for her to become a member in her christian bible study DOLLS in school, she had to say that she disliked homosexuality and that it was a sin or she wouldn’t be allowed in. She said she believes all people should be treated equally and that it wasn’t her choice but people can make there own choices. The girls quoted the bible and said she couldn’t be in the group unless she believed that it was a sin so she lied to be in it. That is exactly what makes Christians look bad and gives a terrible stereotype. I am a Christian but strongly believe that homosexuality is not a choice! Being attracted to someone is biological, you don’t choose it. If people weren’t so closed minded and actually talked to a gay person, you would learn that! Who would choose to be hated and to have fewer rights? Why is it so hard in this country to realize change is always going to happen whether you want it to or not?! Dont you think the same white girls running the club in the 60s said no black people allowed? And now if someone says no to a race joining something, commence a lawsuit. Well things are changing and people are going to have to get over it. Jesus believed in love and I honestly think he just wants people to be happy and feel loved because thats the most important thing in this life. But that’s just my opinion/rant.
